Welcome to Kenwood Inn

Kenwood Inn, located at 451 34th St N in St. Petersburg, Florida, offers a modest yet practical lodging option for travelers seeking convenience and a touch of local flavor. With a rating of 2.8, it stands as a humble choice in a vibrant, diverse neighborhood known for its Craftsman bungalows and artistic charm. Guests will find themselves close to popular dining spots along Central Avenue and can easily explore tours of local artist studios—a cultural plus that enriches the stay.

The inn’s rooms are noted for their size and privacy, particularly those featuring balconies on the second floor. Long-term guest Mark Miller praises the spacious accommodations and stresses the convenience of nearby amenities—a 7-Eleven directly across the street, Circle K, Taco Bell, Subway, and Walmart all within walking distance. This proximity to everyday essentials makes Kenwood Inn especially suitable for travelers who value accessibility and practical living arrangements.

Improvements over time are significant. Quincy Youngs recalls a less favorable experience in childhood but now observes a clean, well-maintained environment where guest safety is a clear priority. This evolution reflects a dedicated effort to raise standards and foster a welcoming atmosphere.

The inn provides complimentary Wi-Fi and free parking, though it does not offer a pool, restaurant, or fitness center. These limited amenities suggest it is best suited for visitors who spend much of their time exploring the local area rather than seeking extensive on-site recreation. Still, the charm of the surrounding neighborhood and the ease of access to local conveniences give Kenwood Inn a quietly appealing allure.

In essence, Kenwood Inn is a straightforward, affordable stay rooted in a culturally rich area. It may not boast luxury, but its authenticity, convenience, and ongoing dedication to improvement make it a worthy consideration for those visiting St. Petersburg who appreciate a genuine local atmosphere paired with practical comforts.

Nice Big rooms with balcony on 2nd floor. Private. I've been here 4 months and I haven't had any problem. Convenient with 7-11 right in front and Circle k across the street, taco Bell, Subway on the corner and Walmart is only 4 blocks away.

I used to stay here as a child and it was terrible but now that I'm an adult paying for myself I've seen this place become much better. They've cleaned it up very well and the rooms are much cleaner. They don't just let anyone in anymore so you don't have to worry about if something will happen.
